Hey y'all,
I've been playing with **Maxi** for a long time (about 1 1/2 years) now. I feel he's one of the most underrated characters in UFS; his E: makes things pretty hard to block, and you can pack some heavy damage if you build him right. Here's what I've got right now:
WARNING: This deck is a Legacy Good deck. I have no desire to change the starting character. The rest is fair game.
Starting Character:
**Maxi** (6 HS 27 Vitality) (Air, Evil, Good)
Assets (2):
2 Mysterious Stance (3/4 +1M) (Good)
Attacks (18):
4 Ichi no Tachi (3/3 3M3 +2M; Weapon) (Evil, Good)
4 Rolling Buckler Uppercut (3/3 3M3 +1H; Powerful: 1, Reversal) (Air, Good)
4 Strike Heads (4/3 3M5 +2M; Reversal, Throw) (Air, Good)
4 Mark of the Beast (5/3 4M4 +2M; Weapon) (Air, Good)
1 Fury (6/2 4M3 +3M; Maxi Only, Multiple: 2, Weapon) (Air, Good)
1 Feline Spike (7/1 4H8 +1L; Multiple: 2, Reversal, Stun: 2) (Air, Good) (the only reason I don't have 2 Feline Spike is because I can't get another
)
Foundations (32):
2 Alluring Beauty (1/4 +1L) (Good)
4 Empire's Ruin (1/5 +2M) (Good)
4 Nothing to Lose (1/5) (Air, Good)
4 Amy's Assistance (2/4 +1M) (Good)
4 Fight or Flight (2/4 +2M) (Good)
2 Lone Wolf (2/6 +1H) (Good)
4 Roam the World (2/4) (Good)
4 Shissen Karihadi (2/6) (Air, Good)
4 The National Tae Kwon Do Treasure (2/5 +2H) (Good)
Splits (8):
4 Flashy Display (0/3 +2M) | (4/3 3M4 +2M) (Air, Good)
4 Pirate from Ryukyu (2/5) | (1/5) (Air, Good)
Side Deck (8):
4 Holding Ground (2/4 +2L) (Good)
4 The Red Lotus of the Sun (2/5 +3L) (Evil, Good)
AVERAGE CC: 4.05
STRATEGY:
This deck's overall goal is simple; beat your opponent's head in with heavy damage, ASAP. To accomplish this, we have a core line-up of speed and damage-boosting. Committing power and a smidge of recursion/card draw round the deck out. Because of Maxi's E: , attacks become very hard to block after the second, and cards like Ichi no Tachi make it even harder. The deck also has a touch of defense, which is easy to pick up in a symbol like Good.
Suggestions welcome.
