Indeed it does, but it has to be said that there are other forums on FFG that actually have an Off Topic section... mainly the CCG/LCG ones.

I'm not really sure to be honest. I guess with a CCG/LCG there is a need to discuss many things about deck building, trading and rules etc and the off topic part probably stems from a need to keep those areas clear.

i think we don't do so bad here in the Talisman forum as people seem to post quite sensibly. It might be nice to have a sub-forum though, for ease of searching really, but then again the forum search feature doesn't have advanced settings!

The comprehensive FAQ project is interesting indeed, but you can't make a 20 (50?) pages long document to clarify everything. I really liked the subsection in previous forums where Elliott gave official answers to single questions... with Reaper and Dungeon expansion there will be a bunch of cards and Characters to combine and many clarifications to be given. Most players like to have official answers to avoid house-rule proliferation and arguments, and so do I.

Hmm... some good considerations... both for social and game related stuff. Indeed, tracking any official rulings is difficult herein. But isn't there eventually going to be an offical FAQ page?

So far, I don't see an aweful lot of pure non-Talisman socializing, so maybe we don't need that kind of subforum... at present. But a subforum for rules consideration (player and official input, but not for house rules) might be a nice organizational tool to consider. Talisman has a lot of wild influences in just its official components and expansions, and it will probably get more complicated (more need of clarifications) once more expansions are released.

And how would we go about making such a suggestion to those in charge?

Done! I sent them a note asking about the possibility and viability (for them and us) of having a "rules" related subforum for discussion of rules conflicts and interpretations as well as official rulings from FFG.

Maybe it could be a reaper follower only and carry a " want of allseeing and teleportation " to get player hiding in some remote expension!!

Very funny, knowing how much appetite ogres have, add to this the fact that this pony belong to the reaper and I can see ogres stuff with sugar rotating slowly over a nice hot fire

Of course the ogres don't know how to operate the staff of teleportation before the reaper get his hands on them
