The store closest to me HAS all of the wave 2 models IN STOCK. But they are refusing to sell until the 28th.
Seeing I know a few mail order companies can get the stuff to me on or just after that day for easily 35% less than the local will be charging…I see no reason to buy from them.

Retailers usually get new products before the release date so that they will be on the shelves that day. The retailers are not allowed to sell those products before the relese date, and doing so could jeopardize their ability to get more product and possibly lead to legal action.
It's funny, though: in the latest update, they say Wave 2 should be on shelves "
by
February 28th"… that says to me that retailers should have the freedom to get 'em out early!
I don't know of any company that allows LGS's to sell early. Most have a clause that mean a shop is caught selling early, they have to wait six months after a product's release to be able to get it

it all depends on when FFG has told them when they are allowed to sell the product, it has nothing to do with what the public thinks
end of story!
FFG does not set "street dates" at all.
I interpreted the "by the 28th" as meaning the shipping should take no longer than that and if the store happens to get it sooner then it’s game on.

It's not about what I think, it's about what they have said. They didn't say " on the 28th", they said " by the 28th".

Here I thought I was the only one with forum problems. Many days I can't even log on to this place.
My LGS has a tracking number and is expecting their first shipment on Tuesday. He was told we can have our ships as soon as he gets them.
