its probably been suggested before, but i dont care (cause its a good idea) you should make an app for android and iphone that lets you play AGOT on your phone. it'd be great, for a nominal fee (say 5 USD?) we could finally have an easy place to build decks, play test, play games on the go, incorporate people from all over the world without having to go to roseville MN. it'll give your worldwide players access to different playstyles from different countries, it'll make remote location players feel less isolated. its just a suggestion but think about it, money for you and we can finally stop trying to get ocgtn to work >.> win for everybody involved.

My 5 cents to this issue coming from software developer point of view is, that it is terribly hard to create good enough user experience for small hand held devices like phones with screen size varying from 4" to 5". Agot has lot of things you need to keep track: Your hand, your board, shadows, plots and opponent board, hand size, agenda/house and plots also discard and deadpiles. This greates huge amount of screen elements that should be recognizable and easily manipulated(flip, kneel, discard, death) How to declare challenges, player actions, events.

So it might be doable on tablet, but even there it is pain in the ass to desing ux so it is usable and easy to learn. Also what would be level of game own AI. Does it have rules structures and only allows things to do what you can do, or should it be more freely like OCTGN where players dictate was the move legal or not.

all points noted, counter rebuddle, create there own cpu/browser system to same effect, or if the like the idea of hand helds hwat about swiping to change screen one screen is your hand ones dead pile ones play field ones discards, so on and so on. im not saying its pheasible or even resonable, but its so hard finding a decently sized play group without going to giant events, and i think a FFG sponsored/endorsed site or program would encourage people to step outside their small play group for more events by giving players the broader exposure to different playstyles and players that AGOT gamers need, without having to comute for 3-5 hours to a one day event. also if players do utilize this would-be system (just my opinion) i think you'd get better turn outs at events, nobody wants to drive 5 hours only to find out after playing that their deck is very flawed, nothing worse than being the best in your play group and getting destroyed a couple hundred miles from home because your deck isn't diverse enough/too little draw/ fu#%-me-i-forgot-about-maesters. ---SUMMARY--- in closing a FFG sponsored deck building and playing site or program would invigorate AGOT players, encourage attendence via giving players a large pool of people to practice against and in general make the game better. p.s i'd totally pay them for the service, so can you say "$$"
