Where are your adventures?

I know a lot of us(If not most) commenting on this forum have purchased/played this game. So for a bit of fun I though I'd ask what everyone's groups are, what they are doing, and where is their adventure taking place?

My group is three, and they are all playing fringer types(Obviously), though it is less about doing criminal activity and more about just living in freedom. Not tying themselves down too tightly to anything. Two characters are player made, a slicer/thief whiz of a Twi'lek who also dabbles in a bit of charm and outlaw tech. She is also secretly force sensitive. The next, the combat heavy, and somewhat leader of the group is a male human who is a bounty hunter class. Though despite his crack-shot with a blaster carbine he is also an amazing pilot. Thirdly, the last player, really liked the Sasha character so we just copied her down with a bit of edits and off she went.

Our setting is a few years before a Battle of Yavin, and their first adventure is on the planet of Illum. A old noble house from Alderaan wants to relocate there as it is a forgotten world and only they know the how to get there. The climiate in the galaxy, especially with the Empire, is something they want to escape from and they hired the group to secure, set up, and discover a suitable location for them to relocate. Also help set up a little colony and homebase for them.

It has been great fun as Illum has a lot of secrets I can use, and the group is just having a blast playing these characters. So what about everyone else? What are you all doing?

well, last night was my first session, basically setting up my wife's character, a Robin-Hood-esque human Explorer, Grace Matare, specialising in Astrogation and piloting. she had a good time just making the character, which bodes well! the initial how-to-play-the-game session starts out on Tatooine with Teemo the Hutt calling in some debts (Grace has 'had to' dump some shipments and actually has cost the Hutt quite a bit of profit). she'll travel to Nat'Atta, a lovely agri-world, to recover some shipping lane info from a rival of Teemo's, and we'll play it on from there. I cooked up some stats for a SoroSuub Nestt -class light freighter for her. The Nestt predates the YT-1300 and is a solid ship, although it has no weapons and is hard to modify. the deck plans can be found online too, which is cool. there might even be the potential to link my wife in with a wider group that is currently finishing up a D&D story arc, thus the use of Teemo and Tatooine.

Group 1: 4p (tho' I had 5p for one session).
Setting: 1 month ABY.
Duration: 9 sessions
Disposition: Due to scheduling issues, game closed a week ago.

Our groups started with 3 players, out of them 2 are still playing. The did the beginner's box adventure and the Long arm of the Hutt. 3 new players joined them today to start another adventure, an adaptation of Riders of the Maelstorm. First game in that adventure. Played a total of about 7-8 gaming sessions so far!

6 players - usually 5 show up (schedules and stuff).

We've been touring the outer rim these last few months. They've been to the minos cluster, a lot in hutt space, popped by tatooine a few times, based on Tholatin (Esau's Ridge - a nice place to use, it exists in Lore, but there is little to no info on it, so very nice with lots of potential) for the time being - been doing exploration and scavenge runs to earn some cash and get allies. Las session they poppedd by Concordia and ended up back at Esau's ridge where their patron has made extensive upgrades to the base since last time they were there. Their ship is now being modified and I intend to have a space encounted next session, fighting off some uglies or z-95s … we'll see.

So episode 1, or the prelude, is over now. The next chapter is going to have traverse the whole galaxy, from Rodia to Dathomir, Mandalore to Endor, Asation (if they're lucky) to Coruscant.

Next session is going to kick off with having to do work for some mysterious individual who wants the players to spy on their extentric Bothan crime lord patron. After that I'll probably have re-read Pirates of Prexiar and have them run through that for some piraty madness.

I've got 6 players, and so far we've only played through Escape from Mos Shutta.

Long Arm of the Hutt was on tap to be started last Saturday, but GM (myself) got taken down by a wicked migraine headache, so next attempt will be this coming Saturday. I figure there's at least three decent sessions to be had out of that adventure, which should also help give me an idea of what sort of adventures would best cater to the characters while being enjoyable for the players.

We are at our 11th session and we love the game! As a DM, I didn't follow the Teemo the Hutt adventure but took the characters for my campaign. the players started the game in a lab, plugged on a computer and the lab in overwhelm but Tusken rider. They lost part of their memory and I am doing like a TV show kindda series, the players are all connected somewhere. the players love it!

the group is 5 players, all aliens and we play 2 years BBY, I like to use actual charracter like Luke on Tatooine, they met him before he was glorious!

my current group started 2 months ABY, running the beginner's box adventure. They diverted at Long Arm of the Hutt. They're currently 4 months ABY, and fleeing the Tatooine—Nal Hutta—Nar Shadaa triangle, and have hooked up with a rebel cell centered on Nar Shadaa… right as it was being raided by the Empire.

They are essentially going rebel. The bot is pro-rebel. The guy who played Pash has decided he's going to go pro-rebel, simply because it's a chance to justiffy his crimes.

And they're wanted. The Empire has a bounty on them. Cr5000 each.

They have upgraded their ship a bit, but still have the lousy hyperdrive (x3 instead of x2 standard for the YT1300). They've upgraded to light blaster canons (an extra point of damage each), and added a salvaged Mandalorian Concussion Missile Launcher (good luck finding ammo to fit…), a second nav comp (ignore the first nav-comp crit), and a bacta tank.

Presently, they're heading off to Kayri.

We just had our first session following playing the Basic Box and Long Arm of the Hutt. Of course the player sthought it'd be a simple trip back to Geonosis then to Ryloth and all would be well… and I couldn't let that happen.

They got contacted on Geonosis by some of the NPCs from the previous adventure, Maru wanted to get a BVlack Sun presence on Tatooine and the SUllestian offered them a job running guns to Ord Mantell (for the rebellion, but they didn't initially know that). I made sure it was pretty big money for some "simple" assignments right out the gate, so they decided to take the Fang and make a run for Ord Mantell before dropping in on Ota for their big payout. It was actually priceless to watch their faces when they realized they were dropping off guns to the Millenium Falcon.

Of course when they got back to Ryloth (With guns they had gotten for Nym and the resistance) they found Ota had been called to Myriaan for some business and Anatta offered them a job getting on Jabba's good side (It's going to take them from Tat, back to Geonosis maybe, then off to Christophsis and then Raxus Prime) depending on which storyline they follow they could end up all over the place!
