In my opinion, and it is only that, this book is effectively the second half to the main rule book. It expands on a lot of the basics in the main book. It is probably the only book other than the main rule book I would mark as a must have.

I do write a lot of my own rules and change things as I see fit anyway, but this book has eliminated a lot of that need. Expanded skills, expanded items, expanded homeworlds and expanded character options.

If you buy any one book to compliment the main rules, buy this one.

I'm very good at finding things in books so the lack of an index is a minor irritant at most for me. I'm quite aware everyone else isn't as lucky. The shear wealth of useful material in the IH makes it hands down the most useful book for me, followed by DoDG and then CA.

And I'll agree with Cynical Cat, IMHO get DotDGs before CA. It comes with opponents for the cults to throw at the acolytes. With CA, you have to come up with the cult yourself. It's unlikely for investigators to be sent across the sector to fight some random baddies. There needs to be some cult or cult like activity to spark the Inquisition's interest..

Is the index for IH available by itself and can you make sure FFG has a copy to put in the next printing LOL!

Well, thanks to all the rave reviews, when I ordered Creatures Anathema I went ahead and ordered the Inquisitor's Handbook as well.

My wallet is annoyed with all y'all.

Well, I got the Inquisitor's Handbook in the mail today (Creatures Anathema, which I ordered at the same time, is arriving in a couple days).

I see why y'all recommended the IH so unreservedly. It's completely chock full of witch-burning goodness. I'm sure that it will be very useful.
