Wolf´s age

By player669369, in Tannhauser

Ok, I have some stupid questions about Wolf's age. Anyone knows why the hell is he here since 1889 (or maybe 1863)?

as I can read in the tannhauser chronology , his name appears several times... Maybe i´m missing something, my english is a little bit rusted and probably i´ve missunderstood something, but...

anyone knows when was he born?

A good question. I examined hte chronology one more time and you're right. "Wolf" appears several times over the years (and that's over 100!). I think it's not him though. The character's codename is "Wolf" due to his original name which is Wolfgang. The "Wolf" that appears in the chronology could be either a person or some king of a organization. Or perhaps it it someone that predecesed the character Wolf and "Wolf" is simply a title passed from one mercenary to antoher (a brotherhood of some sort?)

like 007

=)

My theory is Wolf is a pseudonym taken by Gabriel after he was stripped of his divinity (q.v. Chronology 1566). Somewhat like the character Melmoth The Wanderer from victorian penny dreadfuls. Just a hunch.

Or, perhaps Wolf is used in the vein of the Dread Pirate Roberts ...

... He took me to his cabin and he told me his secret. 'I am not the Dread Pirate Roberts' he said. 'My name is Ryan; I inherited the ship from the previous Dread Pirate Roberts, just as you will inherit it from me. The man I inherited it from is not the real Dread Pirate Roberts either. His name was Cummerbund. The real Roberts has been retired 15 years and living like a king in Patagonia.'

Nice theory littlewars :) Didn't think about that.

Another thing... they say there was a 11th comandment. Are there more? ;> "12th - Thou shall not blow Heizinger with Tala's bomb1" :D

I do think that it is one Wolf and he is being sustained through some means.

Ah yes, Wolf has access to the Lazarus Pit!

That was my first impression too, there is just one Wolf. Maybe sustained with his mysterious amulet, the Trêfle Doré ? The countess of Poucerverts gave to him in 1889... thanks for your answers!

Greetings from spain

Perhaps that is the answer indeed. Evil women with their evil trinkets!

Its gotta be da beer.

I concur on the Wolf is Gabriel idea, this would also explain why he is in Cerberus, which seems to be some sort of BPRD in the Tannhauser universe.

He does show up on wierd places though during the chronology, fighting on all sides of the war, more motivated by personal gains than allegiance.

Only time will tell.

Maybe he's a time traveller?
