I've been playing and enjoing Chaos in the Old World for a some time and while I hear good things about Game of Thrones, I'm worried that those two games share too much in common (I mean technically, not taking aesthethics) to spend money on the one if you possess the second. So, there's question for players who do played both games: is GoTh worth buying, if one already got Chaos? Thanks for answers
Game of Thrones after Chaos in the Old World
Chaos is one of my favorite multiplayer games because of its well-balanced imbalance.
Game of Thrones certainly has those features as well and is a longer, much more complex game in my opinion. Unfortunately, the length and complexity of Thrones has prevented me from playing it as often as I'd like (my game group isnt very hardcore). Thus, I've probably had only 5 plays of Thrones vs 50 plays of Chaos. If you have a dedicated game group, though, and love Chaos, I'd say Thrones is a must buy. The type of diplomatic, treacherous, and sneaky moves seen in Chaos are even more prevalent in Thrones, and there are generally far more options to choose from and decisions to make. The artwork of the game is beautiful and immersive as well. Wish I could play it a lot more.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for you answer, it helps indeed:)
