What would be really neat is if FFG could publish short stories based on the game the way Chaosium does new Cthulhu stories.

I like this too and think it is a great way to help people get a feel for the Warhammer 40K setting. WH40K books do a great job of this as well but reading stories makes the universe feel more real. Who knows, maybe some of those writing will catch the eye of an agent or whoever has the license for fiction for WH40K (Black Library still?). I think it would be great to at some point have a collection of the best fan fiction--short stories and novelettes.

I am trying to persuade my RPG group to try WH40K and WHF. I'll recommend they drop by and read some of the short stories here to get them excited and help them develop an idea of what the setting is about.

If anyone wants constructive criticism please ask so we know if it is wanted or not. if you just want to post it for us to enjoy that's great too.
