Future Proof - 6th & Final Data Pack of the Genesis Cycle
Can't wait to see what that Shaper Virus does…
Dedicated response team and Ronin are going to be nice additions, too. Looks like all those defensive runner cards we've been getting will start getting put to good use now…
Hostile assets look to be a fun addition. I really like how Weyland and Jinteki are shaping out. Corporate War is just strange to me
Looks good. I'm looking forward to trying out those hostile assets in my decks.
Deep Thought is likely a reprint of the same from classic that allowed you to look at the top card of R&D once it was built up to three counters.
Corporate War is a drastically toned down reprint from the original which was 3/3 and worked at 12 credits.
Fairie is probably a reprint of Wild Card.
Dedicated Response Team is a reworking of an Upgrade-Ambush that did 3 meat damage on access if the runner was tagged.
New cards look amazing. I like the flavor text, especially one on Corporate War, it's just hilarious. Ronin looks like a great addittion to Jinteki. Also, Criminal just got another killer… and it's cost is zero.
Trying to flatline just got way more interesting…playing just scorched earth, while quite effective, gets boring. New ways to do things are always interesting. Likely we'll see some more use of defensive runner cards (and possibly a few new ones).

I just hope its ability costs aren't insanely high just balance it out.
The supposed CCG model has strength 0, breaks routines for 0… but gets +1 strength for 3.

About Corporate War: sometimes, when the beancounters tell you blasting the competition will increase your profits, they are right. And sometimes they aren't, so you you end up stuck investing a mountain of credits to pull it off.
At least, that's how I see it.
The original Deep Thought had a 0 bit cost, but I think ffaristocrat has made otherwise good guesses. I'd be totally stoked on a Wild Card reprint.

Hm. It's quite balanced yet quite intriguing.

If you can keep the runner out of your server where it's installed, delayed scoring is the name of the game with this one. Build up your credits after advancing it, so the runner thinks it's a trap (hmmm… I don't think I wanna touch that 4 counter Junebug, thank you), then, at your leisure, score it, get the points and the credits. Likely will only work once in a while, as long as you don't do it too often. And actually splashing some traps is nice to either use as such, or to really sell the ruse.
