What happens when your movement ends you on a street, not an actual location but a street that contains nothing?

Unless there is a Mythos effect or some other game effect taking place in the street area you're in, nothing happens. Usually you put a token in the streets where there is a special game effect. So in general: if there is no token in the streets, nothing happens.

You will not have an encounter in the Arkham Encounters phase or one in the Other World Encounters phase either. You just end your movement in the street and you wait for the Mythos Phase. In any case, this happens quite a lot especially if you've cleared a bunch of monsters out. Sometimes, there is something to do in that street, but often times, there is not.

It's important to keep in mind that hanging out in the street cause have all kinds of negative effects, such as fliers from the sky attacking and lets not forget about all of the weather effects prevalant on mythos cards.
