The all new user-generated AFM X-Wing Event Calendar is live!

This is another wordpress powered page, you're login to the A Few Maneuvers forums will be ported over as soon as you open the page, and here's the best part: ALL members are contributors! Continue reading for instructions on posting events. We will keep our events sub forum up for a short while, but that page will soon take over completely, as it allows for posting to different categories, tagging the event to it's state/location… more tags and catagories will be added as they are suggested…

So, here's how it all works…

1. All users will be allowed to submit an event to the calendar. Standard users will need their events to be approved by a mod, editor, or admin before it will be published. (we will have a team of 4 or more people who will have this power, so it should take much longer than 24 hours to be published)

2. To submit an event, once logged on the forums and loaded on the events page, you'll need to mouse over the "+New" then select the "Event" link from the drop down menu

3. Events will need to be formatted correctly:
*Categories will be used to designated the type of event. So far I've created the Tournament Category (with FFG tournaments as a sub category) and the Casual Play Category (with League Play as a sub category)
*Tags will be used to designate location. So far I've created tags for all 50 states + D.C., I'm going to add the Canadian Provinces today, and if there are other countries you want on there, let me know.
*Titles will be formatted as follows: "{Event Name}, {Event City, State}" There will be need to put dates or the actual location in the title, as it'll be on a calendar for the date, and the event post forum allows for address input and Google map integration
*Within the post all fields need to be entered, and the option for enabling the embedded Google map needs to selected.

Let us know if you have any problems.
