So, Bill, it seems you've been reading up on the Eastern Front... Since you're a TOI designer/play-tester, can we players infer anything from this? (Ahem.)

maybe but i'm not at liberty to say anything. FFG will announce what they are doing when they are ready. Also i like to be prepared for things in advance

Thanks. Entirely understandable. And, actually, all I needed to hear.

This is a post I was happy to see. gran_risa.gif

I'd vote for the eastern Front: it was, after all, where most of the land combat took place!

I know its probably a bit fringe, but I would love to see some cavalry appear, and an EF module would seem the place to introduce them seeing as how many divisions there were on both sides in that theatre.

Maybe have mounted cavalry figures with 2 pegs each (and like mortars mounted cavalry can only be based together), + horse holder figures with 2 pegs of a soldier standing holding the reins of a horse, at a ratio of one mounted to one horse holder. The mounted troops have mobility and limited firepower and a charge bonus, but must have a negative defence modifier due to their vulnerability. A mounted figure can break down to a horse holder (on one base) + 2 infantrymen (on another base) and vice versa. Thus 2 mounted cavalry figs could break down to 4 infantry figs + 2 horse holder figs on a separate base. Infantry can represent dismounted cavalry by having a specialisation counter, but then cavalry may only be based with each other. The horse holder figs have reduced movement and are possibly even more vulnerable.

Or is this s rubbish idea? :-p

If it will be 1941, you will see our tanks T-34 and KV-1. =)

You're right. When will whe see the operation Zitadelle (Kursk) and stalingrad?
