I rather foolishly started my friends buzzing about a DH/Deathwatch conjoined campaign without finding anyone else to write or GM it
Wasted Day
An introduction storyline.
The scene is set:
This adventure begins on Mafli: the murderously secretive highly political hive-world in the Calixis sector. Rife with corruption and political infighting the Inquisition maintains a permanent presence on this world to monitor the constant turmoil.
The players characters (with the exception of Primus) are not yet in service to the Inquisition.
In addition to his normal gear Primus has a holo-wafer with a badge of authority stored on it, a micro comm-bead tuned to a frequency used by Halo and a Dataslate through which Halo sends him instructions.
Halo and Primus have never met face to face.
The Player whose character is known as Primus has recently arrived on Malfi when he receives a contact from his master, the inquisitor known as Halo.

Primus,
A hotbed of filth has been brought to my attention by locals, remove it from the throne's sight that we may swiftly resume prosecution of our duties free from the whining of morons.
Leave no witnesses unaccounted for.
Blade has been made available should swift resolution become necessary.
Walk with my authority. May the light of the Emperor shine on you.
Halo.
Primus should be encouraged to proceed to the house of ill repute indicated by Halo. A transport is waiting to take him.
The Brothel is near the spaceport. To help him enact his master's wishes he may recruit some local law enforcement on the way by making an

The Deathwatch Kill-team “Blade” is kept in reserve in case events spiral out of control.

The Staff are beautiful women with piercing eyes and severe scraped back hairstyles. The Drink is flowing and there is some gambling going on in a darkened corner furthest from the door.
After a reasonable length to time (GM's discretion.) Primus and escorts arrive drawing the attention of all present, One of the staff come to greet them at the door.
“
What is you pleasure my lords?”
(This interaction should be used as a provocation for Primus to invoke his Inquisitorial authority)

Primus should offer the other PCs the choice of join him serving the throne or die here and now.

Primus,
You have some new accomplices I see. When I instructed you to account for bystanders I imagined you have the steel to end their lives, not put them on my payroll.
I trust Blade was useful to reinforce their “voluntary induction” into my service. I will not be entrusting Blade to your command again.
Check these dregs backgrounds, assess their suitability to aid you in the tasks you are assigned. These new agents are your cell and you shall be their handler.
As my late master famously said to the governor of a hive divided by civil war:
“
These are your people, they are your problem.”
Thought For The Day: To die with work undone is to fail the Emperor.
The Players should be given an opportunity to discover some information about the devotional lockets (if any had the foresight to take one.)
The locket is from a minor but commonly known religious order called the Sect of the Star Father.
This insular and secretive religious order seems to be concerned mainly with the copious breeding of children to produce soldiers for the Imperium.
The sect runs brothels to and dispatches camp followers to “reward” loyal Imperials soldiers for their service, any children produced are raised by the sect in a unofficial shadow of the Schola Progenium for low ranking troops.
