After seeing people comment on the Void event.

and knowing how good Mence and Zhao Daiyo is.

I got bored and just did a look through of Void's current options come block 3...

It's got nice card draw...nice board control...Lunar Slash AND Spinning Beat....Sardine's also...Reppa...

I agree. I've been looking into void deck options lately.

Man I played my dan and morrigan decks tri symbol with good its awesome splash symbol!!

Void feels pretty good as a more than reasonable symbol but it's attacks are very momentum hungry. It's just missing what every other symbol seems to have right now and that's a plethora of Momentum Generation.

Or just simply attacks that don't really need momentum.

Of course Void has had a huge comeback, and from what I hear, Chun Li's pretty amazing. Personally, I'm looking into Sogetsu. Void aggro is back!

i think the only thing void truly lacks is anti olcadon's.

Undercover Agent is a much cheaper and more useful option vs. Loops.

Scuba, I think Void can stand alone reasonably, but as pointed out, steady, Lord of the Makai-level momentum gen is lacking. Though Aim High is quite useful.

Right but not only that but will it really be able to stand up to staging areas with multiple , chesters , red lotus , oral dead, charismatic , BRT, forethought , ect... I dunno I would have to see that in testing .

But ya void will need some sort of momentum generation besides momentum 1 per turn with white gi we saw this an issue in the void event.

If you had to ask me I'd say Red Lotus and Chesters serve as the primary issues, since Void has the ability to get to brt's and stuff via Psycho style, but Red Lotus and Chesters serve as the enablers to let those other cards run amok vs. Void.

Right thats my point is if void had something like lost memories and roam the world they would be able to handle it more easily.

OR you can just run an Evil/Void deck and use those cards against them gran_risa.gif

nah, evil can stand alone just fine come block 3. Absurd gets replaced by Punish the Weak, and most of the foundation base remains.

Void is super hawt right now. I currently ahve a Void Promo Ukyo aggro deck in the works that is very fun to play with and semi competitive. The decks main downfall is the momentum generation.... theres just not enough! White Gi is trash when Im trying to win turn 2 or 3.

No anti Olcadans stinks but you can get around that a lil with aggro and just playing non worthless foundations.

I just wish Void had some halfway decent commit or negate or destroy or anti-destroy effects :P

Ways of Punishment, Saikyo, Psycho Style, all those are hot and all, but like Scuba said -- when you're facing down a pile of Chester's, Red Lotus, Mentoring, BRT, Tira's, etc., you need something to just break through it all, or you'll never win without a severe misplay. Void doesn't even have Lesser of Many Evils or End It All :[

Ya I think so as well there are 3 other reprints steve didnt spoil so maybe it is one of them .
