Thats a great idea to use the wfrp symbol font!

We could even negatize or colorize the background and turn the font white depending on the color of the die.

Now I'm off to order some blank dice!

Way better source of blank dice is thediceshoponline. It does not (however) offer other formats of blank dice than d6.

And the thread of open source dice making at BGG. Unfortunatelly the source of the tutorial cannot be reached anymore… But wait! Luckily there is the wayback machine. The tutorial for dice making via wayback machine. I tried this tutorial once (and ruined a perfectly cheap iron doing that). The effects were good and certainly better than drawing or using stamps.

I imagine that I would probably let my players use the pretty dice, and I'd use the supplemental (and of course make a chaos-star purple die where every face is a chaos star just to see if they're paying attention)

Good I have woke here so positive energy up. Spared me to make all that research myself. :)

The good way of having enough black and white dice is:

When my PCs make something good, or they suffer from an illness or something like cowed or rattled, then i put the dice on their carrer sheet, so they know that the next time they make something they need to throw them too.

Also Boons on initiative work as white dice for their next roll. So the white dice are like lucktokens without the chance to forget them.
