I dumped massive amounts of paper and information on the players last night so hopefully they feel a bit overwhelmed with all the info. Each of the players has multiple goals, contacts and relationship stuff to work with.

The pamphlets were a big hit. I stood on my chair like an agitator and read a bit of each out loud

Sounds cool. My plan too, talk up the pamphlets etc. If anyone buys them and has "full access" they will have bonus dice if ever trying to bad-mouth one of those noble families etc. It looks like at least 2 of my 5 PC's will be able to read.
