Descent: JitD base game components

By Tysonium, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I've been getting my new Descent game prepped and ready to paint, but I have a question. How many Sorcerers are there in the base game? I've got 2 Master and 5 Regular. I've noticed almost all of the monsters follow a 6/3, 4/2, 2/1, or 1/1 ratio, so where does this leave me? Do I have an extra white Sorcerer, or am I missing a red and a white? Help!

I'd have to look at my set when I get home, but I think if anything you have an extra white one. What you could do is add up the number of white monsters and the number of red ones and check it against the rulebook. The components list says: 39 Tan normal monsters and 21 Red master monsters.

Unless I'm much mistaken, you've got an extra white. From memory, I believe you should have:

Beastmen, Skeletons, Bane Spiders: 6 normal, 3 master

Razorwings, Hellhounds, Sorcerers: 4 normal, 2 master

Ogres, Manticores, Naga: 2 normal, 1 master

Giants, Dragons, Demons: 1 normal, 1 master
