Duel-Wielding and Integrated Weapons

By BlaxicanX, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

Hey guys, your friendly neighborhood Blaxican here with some more questions.

- Does using a basic weapon that is mounted somewhere other than your hands have the standard -20 penalty to it? Would you need ambidextreous to use one in your "off-hand", even if it isn't attached to your hand?

- Do all the usual two-weapon penalities and skills apply for having two integrated weapons? For example, if I wanted to use two Catalytic Mass Drivers, one mounted on each shoulder for example, would all the normal penalities for two-weapon wielding apply if I wanted to shoot them both in one turn?

- What about bracing heavy weapons? If I have a shoulder-mounted Heavy Catalytic Mass Driver and wanted to fire it, do I need to use a tripod or something to fire it without the -30 penalty?

edit- And I suppose that I may as well ask this now, rather than end up making a new thread for it later: I read through The Lost Dataslate last night, and I couldn't help but notice that I didn't see any exp costs for any of the origins. Am I to assume that these aren't the same thing as Background Packages, and therefore don't cost any xp?

Thanks in advance guys!

No xp costs for the various homeworlds as they're not background packages, they're homeworlds, like Hive World or Void Born, that sort've thing.

If you fire more than one weapon in an attack you have dual wielding issues. I haven't seen any mention about tripple wielding issues, but I imagine that it should be there for 3-armed people…

Some augmentics clearly states that the attack can be made in addition to normal attack without any penalties, like ballistic mechandrite.

You get -20 on basic if its not mounted strongly enough, same with heavy weapon and being braced. I don't think I would allow basic and heavy weapons mounted on a regular tech priest.
