Quick question-

In a few weeks my gaming group is meeting for a weekend of Descent. We have played a few times (maps 1 and 2) with Vanilla and had so much fun I wanted to add more content to the game with the first two expansions (we aren't interested in a prolonged campaign just yet).

My question is what are considered some of the most "balanced" maps for 3 heroes and 1 OL within those 3 boxes? Are there any "go to" quests folks enjoy playing again and again? Which ones should we avoid as they are tipped to far one way or the other until we've had some experience?

Out of WOD I really like The Haunted Mine and the Spiral of Death. The second quest also has an interesting setup.

I've only played the first quest in AoD but that was also quite good.
