I'm looking for a game in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I live in the East Valley, but I'm willing to travel if the game is a good fit.

I started playing RPG's with the D&D red box in about 1983 and have been playing and DMing games ever since. My previous group broke up after 10 years of play and I'm the only one that wants to give Dark Heresy a go.

Some of the games I've played or game-mastered are D&D (all editions), Shadowrun, Battletech RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade (RPG only, no LARPing), Starwars RPG (All editions), and numerous others. I also have a history with Warhammer 40k and Fantasy Battles tactical games starting with WH40K 2nd edition.

FYI. I have been invited to join a group playing Wednesday nights. This Wednesday is our first game.

I did get a few nibbles from this post so I found it fairly successful. If nothing else I got a few new friends in the Phoenix area that play.

In the end, what got me the game was going down to my local game store and letting them know I was looking for a game. They ended up pointing me to someone looking to start a DH game and after a brief discussion followed by a longer character creation session, I'm now ready to play. I have to disagree by the way that character creation takes 30 minutes or less. This must be for those that have the game memorized, since it took me over 2 hours to make my decisions (So much to choose.)

Anyway, I just wanted to post this to let everyone know the Phoenix area is alive with DH RPG groups.
