Hey! I just saw this.

I live in Charlotte. The big question is what side of town are you moving to? All the game stores in South Charlotte have closed down. Most people live in South Charlotte and the traffic is horrible.

The best game store in the area is PBKW in Cornelius. It's north of Charlotte on I-77. If you are coming from the south during rush hour traffic, it will be pretty bad. Still, if you take I-77 up to I-485, then go east….you get one exit before the highway ends (they are still building it). Take that exit and go north. That is Old Statesville Rd. It has a lot of stop lights and local traffic, but you will move MUCH quicker than on I-77.

PBKW ordered a League kit, but hasn't gotten it or started yet. I'm thinking of running it. There are people up there who play it, but nothing organized at the moment. I'm thinking of heading up there on Thursday nights as that was the day I played Warhammer Fantasy (before Xwing). They do have space boards to make the game interesting. They have been sold out of stock for a few months now and I think that hampers new players.

I have been getting a number of non-gamers into the game, too. So far, I've convinced three peopel to buy the starter set. They are all eager to play and just learning.
