Makai High Noble Vs Blinding Rage

Blinding Rage isn't perfectly effective either, especially if your deck plays the long(er) game -- or if you need to protect your silver-bullet type answers, like if you main 1x Ruler of the Shadows, 1x Cutting Edge, etc., then you're naked if you need to protect those cards. And on turn 7, the odds of having seen all of your - for example - Ways of Punishments aren't bad, and if your opponent sees 3 in the yard they know it's safe. At the very least, MHN-ing a Mentoring away forces your opponent to blow resources to get it back -- there's nothing like The Hero of Southtown in block 3, the only momentum-fetch cards are based on attacking... and therefore they clog their pool, open up to reversals or damaging enhances (China Box), and likely waste an attack that could've been used to kill you a few turns later.

Having played with both, I think I can safely say that I perfer Oral Dead to either of the 1/6s ;)

lol i agree. Oral dead much better answer to Olcadan's.

however, i do also agree that MHN has a more suitable answer to Olcadan's than Blinding Rage. Neither 1/6's are permanent solutions but MHN does cause your opponent to expend more resources that would have been better used for other situations.

Forgive me if I sound like i'm just reiterating other posts.
