Running and Reactions

By BlaxicanX, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

Sooooo I feel kind of lame, because I'm sure this is explained quite bluntly somewhere in the rulebook, or at least in the errata, but I can't find anything on the subject.

Can you dodg while running? I imagine that you couldn't parry, hence the +20 to any WS attack made against you, but what about dodging? If yes, what seperates running from a full-move? Or at the least, what benefit would be there to using a full-move instead of a run?

Also, does the -20 negative mod to bs from Hard Target stack with the -20 mod that comes from running? Seems like an obvious yes, but the book doesn't make it explicitly clear if you naturally get the -20 due to running, or if you need the hard-target talent to get it.

Thanks in advance guys!

The Running -20 stacks with Hard Target. That's why it's so good!

And you can Dodge while running. Dodging is a Reaction, and Reactions only happen when it's not your turn, so you run using a Full Action during your turn, and then once it ceases to be your turn you may only use Reactions, and may then use that Reaction to Dodge (and Parry).
