Maybe it's been suggested before, but the Dark Tower series by Stephen King is one of the best novel series I've read in a long while, and its world and flavor is in my opinion great source material for a board game or, hopefully, a LCG. It would be, of course, very difficult to adapt, but I trust you, FFG.
