Greetings One and All,

I would like to announce an extension to the Painting contest.

After careful consideration and a request from some of Dent's Anima crew I am putting off judging until the 25th of April (Anzac Day).

Thanks to all those who have put miniatures up for display at Mind Games and brought them along today, your entries are fantastic. Hopefully this added time will make the competition even more challenging.

Here's another reminder that there is one week to go before the close of the painting competition.

For all those who came in late...

Well the painting contest didnt just run for march, it went on into April in the hope that some people who were slack for the first date might remember when the seoond cut off was suppose to be. While this failed the entries that were submitted (There were 6 entries in all) all showed a high level of skill and I would like to thank everyone who entered.

On to the good stuff...

The Winner of the First Official Australian ANIMA:Tactics Painting Competition is... (Drum-roll please)

John "Sprue" Siegel with his entry of Ophiel! CONGRATULATIONS SPRUE!

All the entries showed excellent skill and interesting options for their appearance. On a special note: Tsubasa was particularly interesting, he was mounted with an extreme lean as illustrated here...

Congratulations again to the Winners, thank you to everyone who entered. A special thanks goes out to WEN-M for providing the artwork for the prize and to Dent for helping me judge the competition.

I hope you all enjoy the figures, and for those who missed out this time. There should be another competition later in the year.
