Probably a dumb question

But if you say own 3 tie fighter expansions, is it ok to use all the upgrade cards of them? Or are you not allowed to use double up's? I know you can't use the same named pilots more than once but I wasn't sure if that was the same for upgrade cards.

I was wondering if that created an unfair advantage if you were playing against someone who only owned one of each ship.

Not only is it fair, since you spent more money to get extras of certain ships/upgrades, but certain tactics require it. The "swarm" chain, where you have multiple ships daisy chained with swarm tactics to bring all of them up to the highest pilot skill to shoot as one requires multiple swarm tactics cards.

You do have to check the upgrade icons at the bottom of your ship's card, however, when stacking upgrades on them. Each pilot may take ONE title card, ONE ship modification card, and ONE additional upgrade card for EACH icon on the bottom of their bar. For example, Dutch Vander may take one turret upgrade (only current option is Ion) and two torpedo upgrades (only current option is protons), whereas Darth Vader can take one elite pilot talent and one missile upgrade.

You also have to check the title of the card. If it has a black dot in the title bar, it is unique and you can only have one of that card in your squad. A good example is Squad Leader.

Only dumb question is one that is never asked, thats what this forum is for
