So deadeye lets you use a focus in place of a target lock to fire missles and such.

seems like that is workable within the rules as it does not say that target lock is for a certain type of weapon.

if so then tycho becomes even more useful with deadeye. he can target lock 1 turn, do a zoomie k-turn and focus in the next turn, and then blow the hell out of whatever he just locked in the second turn's combat phase. SWEET!

Yes, you would be able to use the target lock to reroll a missle attack if you used deadeye.

If you use deadeye and spend the focus to fire the cluster missles, then you fire the first shot and spend the target lock to reroll dice, you would not have the target lock available to reroll dice for the second shot.
