Need suggestions on adventures to convert.

By Maxim C. Gatling, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

I read the CoC conversion ideas and that sounds really good.

But what I'm rather interested in is other games that have Adventure packs to convert. I need something with really good "detective" type gameplay that doesn't necessarily end up fighting Chaos or Genestealer cults. By 'good' I don't necessarily mean difficult. Most of my party are 15 year olds who can't think without a multiple-choice scripted Quest.... (I'm trying to break them of that...)

I have a couple old Judge Dredd adventures, but they're a little too "Dredd". Theoretically, Mega City One is just an average Hive and the Judges are Arbites...but it's turning out not to be that simple a crossover....

Any of you old-skool gamers out there have a module that sticks out as "Hey, that would make a good Dark Heresy adventure..."?

Do you know the Fading Suns RPG?

IMHO a very warhammer40Kish setting with some nice adventures worth having a look at.

There is also a german RPG called "Space Gothic" which captures the dark unforgiving future feel quite well.

Almost every adventure for the aforementioned RPGs are converible with more or less effort.

Tomb of Horrors. With Necrons.

pondering a conversion of the venusian apocalyspe from Mutant Chronicles.

Salcor

Deadlands - Any of 'em. The forces of righteousness vs dark gods, monsters, demons? In a rustic, dirty setting... I've been pondering it for a while.

How about a film? Event horizon? could be a good psychological adventure with a close member of the =][= going Carezey!

Problem with movie plots is that chances are my players have seen it, especially if it's any good.

However, in a dusty box deep in the bowels of my garage there is a copy of Fading Suns ....

Theres still "The last Warhulk" (Alternity) sitting on my shelf. Bought it with the intention to run it eventually.
