well yeah, since they don't have shields (except for the Yehat and Utwig of course).

You would probably need to use the energy system like the blockade runner to fire weapons too.

The Blockade Runner was the Spathi ship ?! ... hm ... rapid-fire cannon but very low damage.

No shields but energy management ... we have unique pilot names ... upgrade cards would be made up, but so they are in X-Wing and Attack Fleet.

I think it would of course be possible and fun to do the game design for the whole game.

I see no reason why FFG wouldn't make a BSG flight path game. They already have the licence so they should do it wile they do.

I do agree that mixing up universes could be kinda silly, but tbh I can already do that now with star trek and soon dragons.

It would be pretty awesome if FFG developed the Twilight Imperium setting more, although I think a capital ship scale flight path system would be a better choice.

I actually had some ships like that for a while. There is a race in Star Fleet Battles that built their ships out of hollowed out asteroids. As a promotional thing ADB packaged up some pebbles in proper SFB blister packs and gave them away at cons. It was pretty cool having a sealed pack labeled "Jindarian Frigates" with a pair of small rocks in it. Unfortunately, over time the glue that sealed the package broke and it came open, ruining the joke.

I'd love to see a BSG game. It would probably be perfect as a stand alone set, as all you'd need would be Colonial Vipers and Raptors, plus Cylon Raiders and Heavy Raiders. Certainly wouldn't need many expansions!

Yeah, pretty much this. Rebel Aces 2: Rogue Squadron X-Wings with closed s-foils, and Green Squadron A-Wings (or Grey Squadron Y-Wings...)

Considering the vast amount of Trilogy ships, plus the fact that they will have the new trilogy plus they can do Clone Wars..there will be no shortage.

I personally do not want ships from other series (Love that Tardis though).

I kinda like starwars but I dislike a lot of other popular sci fi or am unaware of it. It would not be as interesting to me. If upgrades could be shared between IP...it would be a bad thing.
