Actually, many things.... that not really matter right now.

The two properties involved are:

Soul Calibur IV
Shadowar

There will be 4 starters for each set, with each set having an additional 4 characters confirmed in the boosters, for 8 characters per set.

The Box toppers will be depowered so they will not be sought after like BRT.

Confirmed characters for Soul Calibur: Ivy, Nightmare, Siegfried, Tira

Confirmed starter for Shadow War: Astrid

That's what's been confirmed off the top of my head.

Add Confirmed Starter : Siegfried to the list.

While we knew he was coming, the list would have people believe he may be in booster packs, so...

Will they post up images of what the characters will do or what the starter only cards are?

IT's starting to get a little worrying that we've heard nothing new about Set 12 when it should theoretically have its pre-releases in the next couple of weeks...

As a fellow Scout, I would like to get a firm date, so that I can ensure we have planned everything accordingly and players can plan to be there.

My understanding is that as soon as they have it, we'll have it.

I have been trying to get on the OP site to see if we can register yet, but it seems that the OP site has been down for a few days. Has anyone else had this problem?

Dunno bout you guys, the delay really isn't getting to me at the mo. Gives me poor wages a chance to recover, plus there is so many tournies going on in our area it would be a real squeeze! lol

My theory is they may be waiting until after the third annivesary gig, so any new players can go "Awesome! A brand new set right after I start! And a PRE-RELEASE WITH NEW AND EXCITING PROMOS!?!?! ) *slobber slobber* cue new, and now committed fanbase.

Yeah i'm thinking the prerelease might be at the same time as the second 'new player' event bracket of time. Which would be the weekend after march 27th... just a hunch. With the official release probably early april.

That or a baby delay. I mean isn't this THE set that Hata designed all by his lonesome (plus or minus any other office assistence or playtesters... who knows how this stuff works with any given company). Might be they all wanted to take a minute to work out some stuff... or maybe 'the economy' has caused the printers to have delays and under staffage and such... meh.

I'm expecting early april...

It's good to see the francises update. Hoping Hilde's in the new set. I wonder if they can do any of the guest characters.

And Shadowar is finally coming, hope it was worth the wait.
