Incorporeal

By Grimsson, in Black Crusade Rules Questions

I have encounter between a Tzeentch Sorcerer and the PCs set for tomorrow. Now I'm considering giving the sorcerer the 'Flicker' spell on page 219. Basically it gives him the incorporeal trait (pg 141). It says normally an Incorporeal creature can't normally affect the corporeal world. However, I don’t think sending Doom Bolts would be limited by this power? What say you?

EDIT: Sorry about the color above, I type in OpenOffice to catch typos and I forgot that it changes the font color.

EDIT2: I also realized my original post was in the wrong subsection of the forums.

I have people able to use most psychic powers while incorporeal (some common sense exceptions apply). It is a GM call, and that is how I would call it.

I would rule on the side of "phasing into the material realm or plane", to become able to cast most psychic powers. If it were Telepathy or Divinity I could see the psyker being able to manifest a power by thinking of the power, regardless of being corperal or incorperal. Just my two coppers.

The BBEG in the corebook's adventure uses psychic powers while Flicker is sustained. Look there for your reference.

Also check out the Dimensional Instability gift on page 294, which grants access to the Incorporeal trait for a few rounds. The Tzeentch variation then gives access to psychic powers if the character can pass a -30 Willpower test, implying that normally a character cannot use powers while Incorporeal.
