I have the first edition game and just received lair of the wyrm and the conversion kit. After realizing there was no second edition rules in the conversion kit I took to the internet and found them on there. After reading a bit it seems like I'm short a lot of stuff (class cards, etc.). We have not completed all of the quests from first edition so I was hoping we could complete them with the new rules.

Can you please list the full requirements needed to play second edition rules with the first edition game I already own? Thanks.

They are two separate games. You need the 2nd edition box to use the 2nd edition expansions, they are not compatible otherwise.

All the conversion kit does is allow you to use the characters and monsters from 1E with the second edition rules. You still need to use the 2E rules and game components. You cannot use 2E rules and components to play 1E quests/scenarios unless you do some major tweaking of the 1E quests.
