This is my first attempt at a set of League guidelines. I gleaned a great deal of info from these forums plus included my own insights and ideas together in there formation. One problem I had is that in my area I'm the only player that has invested heavily into the system. So a 100 point per player format would not work and because of the relatively small point wise but large number of Imperial ships requirement pushed me toward a story driven Rebel based format. Each league member would represent a pilot and his ship assigned to a special Ops squadron attached to a Rebel frigate. This all taking place in the early part of the rebellion leading up to the defense of Yavin 4 and the attack on the Death Star. The league members would now play multiplayer missions and scenarios gaining experience, upgrading skills and equipment as necessary with the best pilot winning the league. These same players, half the time, will also be playing Imperials trying to thwart the rebel plans. This hopefully will be accomplished by the players splitting into two groups per session. One group playing rebels and the other playing Imperials for the first game and then switching sides for game two in a given session. I created my own system for Pilot skill increase, adding upgrades and getting Pilot skills. I don't plan on starting this for a couple of weeks so any constructive input would be greatly appreciated.
The Guidelines are in the next post
