so just checking if this doesnt work. Was told it doesn't and find the wording very weird since the raiding fleet says when played from hand, and manning city walls is play from your hand uses same wording so unsure why wouldn't work

not"Putting" a card into play from your hand is not the same thing as "playing" it from your hand. Since Raiding Fleet can only be triggered after "playing" it from your hand, using Manning to put it into play will not allow you to use the ability.
okay thanks i was ignoring the begging of the sentence and just saw the play at the end.
