I'm a huge fan of Dune, as are most people that I know and only the original board game exists. With FFG, the board game game could be converted into a whole new direction with miniatures , amazing landscapes, and expansions based on the wars that were being fought. I envision a certain quest aspect of the game, positioning troops, allies & backstabbing, and other amazing features that I know the designers at FFG could develop. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a new game based on the world of Dune for us (and no - Rex does not count).

Sadly Herbert really overvalues the Dune license and the amount he wants for it is ridiculous which is why Rex was made instead of Dune.
