Does anybody have any links where to purchase card holders/trays that would fit the normal Fantasy Flight style cards?
Thanks.

I hope also that i can get them somewhere.
The Cards are small and not big. I don't want to put them into a big card protector.
But it feels not good to play with cards that don't have a card protector.
The best I've seen so far are the card organisers which come with World of Warcraft: The Adventure Game.
They are a little small, but they are pretty good for organising the cards (duh!) but they are a little flimsy and undersized for the full Adventure deck in Talisman. Perhaps using one or two could be an idea, but I suspect it would be just as easy to make one of a useful size with plasticard.
Interesting. I had no idea such a thing existed. I made my own shell lidded box out of matt board wrapped in coated in black butcher paper (eventually I'll decorated it). If I get time, I'll try to put a picture.

You say that so non-chalantly
Just as a matter of interest I've taken a pic at the start of our game tonight using these organisers. The Adventure (including Reaper expansion) deck sits very nicely in two of them, with the Spells in a third. The one used for Quests wasn't really necessary as we could have left those in the box. For discarding we just put the spent cards back in the box to keep the board clear.
For information, we drew from the green one first and then would have moved on to the yellow one, but the game ended with only a few cards left in the first stack (2 players - 90 minutes).
Great idea Jon, looks great on the board. Where can I purchase these from ? Had a quick look on the net but can't find them.
I'm afraid you cannot buy them separately. They come as part of World of Warcraft: The Adventure Game . I suspect a few people already have the game and to be honest it's not that expensive, but might be if you were just after these components!
They are actually quite flimsy and I am not sure how long they would last and, though they are the perfect size for the cards, they just aren't tall enough really. The picture shows them complete with 196 cards, so I think adding the Adventure cards from the Dungeon (when it surfaces) will top them out. It's to be seen whether the full deck of 128 Dungeon cards will actually fit in one of them, so they may not be the ideal choice, just handy if you have some already.
If anyone else has some interesting ideas for card caddies they should post pics of them here. It might make for an interesting feature on the site actually.
must we buy warcraft adventure game ?
If you want the holders I would say so!
But, they are not an ideal solution for the Adventure card stack, just a temporary solution until the decks get bigger!
What we need is a creative soul here who is gifted in the use of plasticard to come up with a template!
Ok, don't thinkI will go down that route. Will be interesting to see if anyone else has any ideas or does something similar. I too put the adventure and spell cards in the middle of the board in the CoC but can look a little untidy when the discard pile and the deck has been used for an hour or so in the game.
Just need something to tidy it up a bit, especially with the dungeon expansion and the 128 cards that will com with that.
What we need are antigravity Holtzmann devices to levitate the cards in the air, to create some space
Alternatively, FFG could produce card holders for ALL their games if they standardized their card size. Plus sell us plastic card covers for the same. Come on, we'd all buy Talisman card protectors for the Adventure decks/spell decks. Not only to protect our existing cards but to create a lovely way of adding custom cards.
And here's my homemade cardbox... I went for on-end card holding so that many cards could be placed in it... or multiple decks... so the box could simply be passed around if needed. Discards are slipped into the back of the perspective deck face-out, so when the last card is drawn it is apparent that the deck needs to be reshuffled. I have the old unrevised edition, so a different box rack insert. With that removed, the closed box lays on its side and fits in nicely. I've already considered a longer version of this box for when additional cards or decks are included in the game... or I'll make smaller ones for additional board/decks.
i'm interresting, how did you do it ?
Hard to explain. Essentially its two boxes, one fitting / adhered inside the other, and each cut to differing height to the overlapping fit. I cut all panels from black core mat board, assembled using scotch tape to hold pieces together, then painted on glue and wrapped all in varied fit cuttings of pure black butcher paper. Its a box construction technique I learned a long time ago and I've done some others over the years for various purposes / uses. Eventually I intend to decorate with game related graphics scanned in, reworked and printed to paste on. I may experiment with shelacking it as well.

Looks cool, I think I know what you mean by butcher paper, but what on earth is
shelacking
? Googling it gets some very interesting results...
I think shellac is what was meant. I remember using it in woodwork classes many many years ago!
Ooops... I meant shellac ...
... I've gotta stop typing so fast on those 5 minute breaks writing.
