Where can I get this cards?

Wondering the same thing. I saw the Instructor and Doppleganger on eBay (along with a promo card from the Black Industries version) but it was for $99 Buy-it-Now which I thought was absurd.

They need to put this cards in one of the expentions for free

That's why one of us uses a Scanner and scans in the card and create a savable pdf. Then offer that pdf to anyone. Then you can simply create your own card. Print on card stock and use Super 77 spray glue and magically so you will have the promo cards. It works.

But in this way thay will look different from the other cards

There will be a chance to win a set of bonus cards (Instructor and Doppelganger) on Talisman Island in the near future.

I think I have about 5 sets or so to give away…

I live in Israel, how can I get them here? I order some expentions from the us and Im been waiting for two months until thay send it to me

The prices for these are ridiculous now. Keeping them as promos for some time is reasonable, but making these two classic cards a limited-print promo forever is just plain wrong. FFG, make them available.

If it is that important for you to have them, I suggest downloading strange eons and all the relevant plug-ins from TalismanIsland and home-brewing the cards. It is quite simple really. Also, there are cards In the expansions that are very similar in function.

Personally, I put all my marbles into winning the contest on TalismanIsland, but per the norm, I lost. So I just made my own cards with strange eons......

A quick search on google and here is the cards that are identical in their text......

Yeah, I don't see the point of those cards considering the Academy and Mimic exist. They're cool to have, but not worth $99. Besides, you can get them in Talisman: Digital Edition .

When and where were these cards given out? I've been to Gencon several years in a row now and I always go by the FF booth and have asked about promo cards. I have always been told no promo cards were available for Talisman. So, where do we get these?

Your best bet is eBay or www.boardgamegeek.com at this point.

Im not seriously concerned about not owning the promo cards. It would be niceof course and I would add them but I hardly think you need them. The cheapest way I would think is get another copy of a small set and copy the cards and stick them on..

They should just throw one of each in the last box they print for the game.

Isn't the point with promo cards that they are limited and you can't just "get hold of them".
Especially not after a while..

I'm a serial completionist so I've been trying to get my hands on these for a while. $99 is too much though...

Just in case anyone is still looking I have decided to sell my copies of Instructor & Doppelganger on ebay. They are still in mint condition and have never been used.
