Sister of Truth and Shadow Events

By Psuudoh, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Can Sister of Truth be used to to put a shadow event back into shadow after the shadow event is played?

No because the timing won't let you. When you bring Sisters of Truth out of shadows, any shadow event previously used will be in the discard pile, where it cannot be affected by anything unless it is explicitly mentioned (only cards in play can be affected by default). What you're looking for is another Baratheon card, Blackwater Bay ( http://www.agotcards.org/card/v/547/eng/jback ), that lets you puts a shadow card in your discard back into shadows.

I understand what you are saying. But what I am after is if Sister of Truth is already in play and I or someone wants to bring a shadow event out of shadow. Can sister of truth be used to put that shadow event back into shadow?

Nevermind, I read Sister of Truth wrong. Thanks for the answer Khudzlin.

I believe I am correct when I say that once the Shadow Event is brought out of the shadows, it is already destined for the discard pile. It will not matter if the Shadow event is successfully resolved or not. Since you cannot change a moribund destination unless it is a moribund destination replacement effect, you cannot use Sister of Truth on a Shadow event.
