I am sorry that this is probably an old question but could not find the answer through the search engine. Alot of people have mentioned using squad leader on luke to give wedge a free action. The card says "choose 1 ship range 1-2 that has a lower pilot skill than you." Wdege is PS 9 and Luke PS 8. So my question is was this ability eratted or are people playing it wrong. If there is an errata can someone link it for me?

I'd have to say they are playing the card wrong, if they are trying to give Wedge a free action from Luke with Squad Leader. You are correct in your interpretation of the card. It clearly states "a ship at Range 1-2 that has a lower pilot skill than you."
