Aurane Waters spoiled among other cards in next cycle

The old charagendas could enter play right away as an agenda.

This charatitle is ridiculous: "Here, opponents, is a tool to my own defeat. I recommend giving all of your renown power characters the naval enhancement and attacking any player you want…" Playing this card should be deemed collusion because playing it is not playing for first. :P

Well, wouldn't you still need to be the winning attacker/defender? Or is renown a reward for just the participating character on the winning side?

Manderly's Scheme looks good for Tully decks. Don't see it being used much apart from that.

Direwolves become 1/3 more playable… just need a blue icon to not lose all their power now ;) Honestly it really does help tully decks, even if it may not make them competitive.

Waters is retarded. Why would you put a card in your deck that is probably only useful by turn three and even then could and most likely will be used against you just as often as you get to use it. It's just a horrible idea. Most melee games are all but decided by plot three anyways. If they wanted a new title then add one. This is just garbage.

You do know that people can play variants of this game. Not everything has to be built around tournament style play. Some cards are made to be competitive and some cards are made to be fun. I would think this one is more for fun than anything.

Fair and valid, yes. I wish, though, that FFG would put alll their "for fun" cards in "for fun" chapter packs, that way I wouldn't have to spend money on it…nevermind, I'd buy it anyway. smh

I bet a lot of playgroups will probably just start this card as a title. Maybe this card wasn't really meant to be in decks; if you are playing a fun melee variant, just start it as a title, should be crazyyyyyyyy.

Man an Unglued set for AGoT would be funny. I'd love to see what they come up for broken versions of the big characters. Like an Eddard Stark that said, "While Eddard Stark is participating in a challenge, you automatically win. Kill Eddard Stark if you smile."

And for those who don't know, Unglued was a fun MtG set with absurd cards like Burning Cinder Fury of Crimson Chaos Fire. That card made it so that every time you tapped (knelt) a card you gave it to the other player. Or the Hokey Pokey Knight which said "WW: Do the hokey pokey to give Hokey Pokey Knight Protection from X until the end of the turn." Ahhh… good times.

While the Kingsmoot variation uses alternative titles, I think I'd enjoy some new or additional titles added to melee to spice things up. Maybe change the titles and what they do every 6 months or each year. That is a dumb idea, yes, but I would enjoy some dynamic added to the game other than waiting for new cards.

Make some up and use them I don't expect FFG will provide content like that. It's up to the player base to take some initiative with the game to help it develop. The NYC meta is trying out a two chapter cycle + Core + 1 Expansion deck format for our league play. I'll let you know how that goes… So far my Stark kill deck isn't looking pretty without any draw. >.>

I'm getting to try my favorite terrible card, Trident Reinforcements, again, though!

I could say the same thing about making up my own cards in general. If I were going to design my own game, I guess I would do that. Plus, the folks that I know would not want to steer away anything that is not part of the current card pool and rules. We don't play often enough to want to do that…

Your league play sounds like it would be generally fun with your own built-in restrictions. Doing that is where I think deck building can feel more interesting, dynamic, and competitive at the same time if you keep switching up the card pool limits since there would be some interesting decks build unlike some of the T1 builds in the most current card pool.
