What comes in the Tactics Core Set

By player1540319, in Dust Warfare

I am looking at the pics of the Tactics Starter set and wondering what troops come with it and what walkers. I want to buy a few expansions but do not want to double up. Also, what troops or walkers are not in the Warefare Core rulebook. I would hate to buy troops and not have the stats for them.

Thanks

All of the units in the core set are only available in the core set.
Allies
Hero
-Rhino
Armor 2 Infantry
-Hell Boys (Command Squad)
-Death Dealers
Armor 3 Infantry
-The Hammers
Armor 3 Walker
-Blackhawk

Axis
Hero
-Lara
Armor 2 Infantry
-Sturmpoineres (Command Squad)
Armor 3 Infantry
-Heavy Laser Grenadiers
-Heavy Flak Grenadiers
Armor 3 Walker
-Hans

No Russian units are in the core book
For the allies the M3 walkers and The Commando Kill squads are missing.
For the Axis the Panzer Kampflaifer III, Heavy anti-tank Grenadiers and Armored Transports are missing.

Hey, thanks for the help. I live in Buffalo, NY. Do you live in Rochester? After we get the hang of Warfare we should meet up to play.

The "standard" way to expand the Axis or Allies from the core set is to get the sniper/observer team, a medium walker, and the command squad for whatever faction you decide to play. Of course, you don't have to do it like that, but if you're really stuck on what to get next, those units are a pretty good foundation.

Also, the core set platoons are:

Axis
- Blutkreuz (Sturmpioniere commanding)
- Schwer (Lara commanding)

Allies
- Assault (Hell Boys commanding)
- Elite (Rhino commanding)

Basically, just pick which command unit or hero you want to command a platoon, and that'll dictate which platoon it is.
