I am playing as Overlord on my group's first run through D2E…we are all new to Descent. I am playing against 3 heroes, 1 of which is Widow Tarha. We are just about to play the first interlude, but I have only won 2 encounters total so far. Widow Tarha just seems incredibly powerful, and is like having an additional hero to deal with. At the level he is at right now rolls a blue, yellow, and red for attack!! After being defeated, it can regenerate the very next turn and attack immediately. I don't even think it takes an action to return the familiar to the game, but I don't have the character sheet in front of me. This thing is powerful as hell, not to mention Tarha herself can re-roll a die every turn. Anyone else having trouble dealing with this character? Any tips or anything I am missing?

Raise Dead requires an action & a fatigue. The familiar doesn't start with any defense die, so it's a glass cannon. It's also slow. Make sure you only allow Re-Annie to move & attack once per round (unless using Fury of Undeath ). I believe the Widow can only re-roll her own attacks, not Annie's. The familiar is also not allowed to perform other hero actions like opening doors or searching. The Overlord in our current campaign has been targeting -- and defeating -- the Necro pretty frequently.
