Hero & Monster Ability Help pls

By Bramb, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Having a few problems with clarification on the following so far…

Elder Mok: Each time another hero within 3 spaces of you recovers 1 or more wounds, you recover 1 wound. Each time another hero within 3 spaces of you recovers 1 or more fatigue, you recover 1 fatigue.

>>> How i understand this, is 1 trigger - if 3 heroes are healed for 1 wounds within 3 spaces of Mok, he heals 1 wound only correct, or would it be 3.

Okaluk & Rakash: In addition to your 2 actions on your turn, you always receive 4 movement points.

>>> I don't know how to handle this properly. Since it doesn't count as a move action it makes it impossible to target with most of my traps. Can the movement be split up any time (like spending fatigue for movement) or does it count as a free move action that gives you 4 Movement?

Monster Ability>Fire Breath: Starting with the target space, trace a path of 4 spaces in any direction . All figures on this path are affected by this attack. Each figure rolls defense dice separately.

>>> The way i understand this is i can pick 4 connecting spaces - even forming a curve, and apply the attack (heroes were always within 3 spaces of eachother when i was using this, so i usually got to hit 1-2 additional). Or is this meant to be in a straight line? Whole reason to this - my players never fought hellhounds before, and this amazing monster is great for speed and damage.

I appreciate any help on this.

Elder Mok : I would say that the "Each Time" wording would apply to the actual healing/resting action, so if an action causes multiple heroes to heal/recover - that is one action that applies to all heroes simultaneously - meaning Elder Mok would receive only 1 extra health/fatigue back.

This can happen multiple times in a turn, but I would say it's only 1 health/fatigue (could be a 1 health + 1 fatigue if both are recovered by the action) per action.

Okaluk & Rakas : Basically each turn, they recieve +4 movement points. This means they can move an additional 4 squares outside of their 2 actions. - The actual movement attribute is only 2 for them - they are basically riding a wolf. Just imagine that each turn, the wolf can make a single movement action worth 4 points. The movement is spent 1 square at a time and can be split with the hero's 2 actions, so traps still apply (most traps activate "when hero moves into an empty space"), even if they are not making an official 'move action'.

Fire Breath : Think you've called it right for that ability. Trace 4 squares - these can be in any direction, and also eminate from any adjacent square to the figure. No line of sight rule is mentioned - so you can breath fire around corners etc.

+0.67

I'm not sure I agree on Mok. The wording is "Each time another hero" (singular), not "each time any heroes" or "each time any action", so I would say Mok gets +3 if 3 heroes were healed within range.
