Quick question as far as Dragon Egg giving your Targ cards Ambush - how does it function with Shadows cards? Specifically the likes of Dragon Skull, and to a lesser extent fellas such as Young Griff. Does the fact that they're shadows prevent them from being ambushed in, or do you simply ambush them in for their printed gold cost like normal (ignoring any responses for them coming out of the shadows, obviously)?
Dragon Egg / Shadows
Shadows cards cannot be played from your hand. They can, however, be "put into play" from your hand. Ambush is a "put into play" effect/mechanic, so you can Ambush Shadow cards (remember, their printed cost is 2 + the "non-s" portion) right from your hand.
As you note, they do not come out of Shadows when they do this, so most of their Responses will be useless.

Seems like using Flame-Kissed would be easier.

Dragon Egg's not that great anyway unless you build around it, was just curious for the hypothetical scenario more than anything.

Yes, you can, as long as it meets all other restrictions (i.e. in-house).
