Had a game the other day where I picked up the Horse and Cart as a follower. Racked up quite a few items and then I picked up a mule. One of the other players was sure I could only use 1 of them at a time, as in I get to carry my 4 items, plus 8 for the horse and cart...but I could not carry anything using the mule.

The rule didn't make any sense to me, but he was so convinced, I thought I'd ask here: Is there any rule that says you couldn't have a horse and cart AND a mule...potentially carrying up to 16 items? Or I guess the same applies to 2 mules...is there any reason you can't have two mules at once?

As it turns out, this was all made academic by the horse thieves cards I drew on my very next turn....

A follower is a follower. No follower but the Hag eliminates use of any other follower. The only issue of having the horse+cart and the mule is that it makes you a target for other players when you start hoarding.
