Our group has been playing quite a bit, and we have read through the FAQ and timing charts, but we're still not confident about some of the timing issues.

I play Bearer of Light. Can another player kneel Ser Ilyn Pane to kill Bearer of Light before it has a chance to kneel to use its' ability?

Sure, after any Marshalling action by a player each other player has an option to take a player action (in player order), so the other player can always trigger an effect before you get another action if he wants to eliminate a possible action on your part.
In melee games at tourneys you sometimes see each player use a reducer they control after the first player takes his/her first action, just on the off chance that the reducer may be discarded before it is their turn to Marshall.

Thanks! Wow….we really need help, lol. It would awesome if we could fly in one of you experts to observe a few of our games. I will continue to read this forum to figure out more errors we are making. I think our Magic TG experience is throwing us off too.
