Sturmprinz seems like kind of a bargain, don't you think?

So, let's see, for 5 more points than a Heinrich, I get more armor, twice the health, the ability to carry 12 soldiers into battle, better anti-infantry firepower (except against type 4), and better anti-armor firepower (except against type 3)? And I even still get Advanced Reactive Fire?

*kicks Heinrich to the curb*

Okay, the Sturmprinz does have some downsides, I admit, the biggest one being that it's…er…big. It'll obviously be a lot easier to move a Heinrich around a crowded battlefield.

Still, the Sturmprinz seems really **** good for the points.

Or is the Heinrich just overcosted?

I think the fact that it's near impossible to hide, and can't move (or even fit) on many of the scenario maps, will really reduce it's usefulness.

What bugs me more is the comparison to a similar allied units. The Rattler has basically the same firepower and Reactive Fire as the Sturmprinz, the Sturm can carry 12 soldiers while the Rattler has Jump (which is nigh-useless for such a slow walker), with 2 less health, the Rattler costs 3 more AP.

Ech, DT has some ballance issues to overcome i think…. We need some units made cheaper (Honey! Blakhawk!Hot Dog!Recon Boys! etc.) couse the new stuff is simply better and more worth the price.

Please remember that Rattler occupies only one square, what in comparision with shoot-me-from-wherever-you-want large walkers is a huge advantage.

The fact that an AR 4 tank is so large (and such a tempting target) makes me worry to no end.

My experience with super-heavy tanks has been of targets fired upon almost every round from whichever unit had even the slightest possibility of harming them, that survived mostly thanks to their toughness and caused me a hefty number of headaches maneuvering them around the battlefield.

The Sturmprinz has the same limitations but not the armor plating. While I absolutely like the model (and its brother, the Prinzluther), switching a point of "health" to a point of armor (5/5 instead of 4/6) would make it so much more trustable in combat conditions.

Exactly - large, visible walker with A4 and H6 can be blown off pretty quickly. I pressume that 'command vehicle' ability will be used only in first two rounds max. He is so cheap because of his fragility and size IMHO.

Ach all of that gives a lot of tactic options and looks interesting;)
