I have been working on a 3D Battlescape for X-Wing.
I want to replace the two spheres and I need to add guns. Then comes painting. The big storm may get in the way.
3D Star Destroyer/Imperial Cruiser

fantastic job so far! been thinking of doing that myself, but 2D version.
you mind sharing the measurements?
Size is about 75.5" x 47" (scale 517m x 322m). Much smaller than the real one at 1600m but probably good enough. I will post plans shortly after I fix the problems.

Not only is it unbelievably cool, and so accurate to play on a Star Destroyer. I am going to have to do this for my own games. Thanks for sharing!
This is another reason why I want official turret rules - so that scenarios on the Death Star or a Star Destroyer or an asteroid base or whatever could include ground-fire.
Please FFG, give us some gun tower rules!

I think this is around 1/3 the size of what a small Star Destroyer should be.

Yeah, I don't think too many of us can fit a 18-20 foot long "small" Star Destroyer in the living room. This seem like a pretty good compromise.
