House Messenger

If I have only 1 card left in my deck and play House Messenger, what happens to this single card?

It seems she should be revealed and also stays revealed - in the deck.

~You lie awake at night coming up with these things, don't you?

> You would reveal that one card. (There is no choosing, so you don't need 2 cards the way that you would need 2 characters - Lord and Lady - for Red Wedding.)

> There is a strong argument, though, that you could neither take the card into hand nor put it on the bottom of your deck because you are not able to "do X to one and Y to the other ." So, unless your TO scoffs and says to put it into your hand, the "then" part of the effect fizzles, the card "remains" on the top of your deck, and the resolution is over.

> Once the resolution is over, the card stops being revealed - as stated in the "Duration of Reveal" entry in the FAQ.

Regarding the FAQ entry "Duration of reveal", it says the card stays revealed until it reaches its final destination. The final destination is not specified here.

So a point could be made that it cannot be reached and the card stays revealed.

~ Actually I didn't come up with this, somebody from my meta did. But I thought u'd like it anyway ^^ He 'd like to build around this, I'm not wure how yet.

The card may not reach a specified, "intended" destination, but it does reach a "final" destination. The resolution may not have been successful, but that doesn't mean the default "destination" isn't final.
